Installation

Install in seconds. Remove anytime.

Every Range Technology plug-in product installs in minutes with no tools and makes no permanent change to the vehicle. Below are the steps and product-specific guides.

How it works

Four steps, no tools.

The same simple routine applies to every plug-in module: locate, plug in, verify, and drive. Unplug at any time and the vehicle returns to its original configuration.

  1. 01

    Locate the port

Find the OBD-II port under the driver-side dashboard, or the inline ECM connector identified for your product.

  2. 02

    Plug the module in

With the ignition off, insert the module until it clicks. No tools, no wiring, no cutting.

  3. 03

    Start and verify

Start the vehicle. The status LED confirms the module is active; the engine stays in full-cylinder mode.

  4. 04

    Leave it or remove it

The module can stay connected — it sleeps automatically when the vehicle is off. Unplug it any time to return to factory behavior.

Range Technology RA003B AFM/DFM Disabler
RANGE TECHNOLOGY / RA003B

AFM/DFM Disabler

Simply plug the RA003B into your onboard OBD-II port and it instantly begins working to eliminate the AFM/DFM system on compatible 2007-2022 GM V6 and V8 vehicles. It keeps you in full power 100% of the time — and it leaves no trace: unplug it to return to factory settings.

Note: Select 2007-2022 GM V6/V8 platforms with AFM or DFM (non-Refresh models). Confirm your VIN and engine on the Compatibility page before ordering.

Range Technology RA007 DFM Inline Module (GM Refresh)
RANGE TECHNOLOGY / RA007

DFM Inline Module (GM Refresh)

The RA007 is compatible with GM refresh V8 trucks and SUVs. Smart inline technology integrates seamlessly with the ECM, disabling Dynamic Fuel Management (DFM) and Engine Auto Start/Stop. Removing the module allows a true “Return to Stock” status with no trace.

Note: GM refresh V8 trucks and SUVs, 5.3L and 6.2L. Check the Compatibility page for the specific platforms covered.

Range Technology RA010 DFM Pro (Bluetooth)
RANGE TECHNOLOGY / RA010

DFM Pro (Bluetooth)

The RA010 DFM Pro adds Bluetooth control: pair the smartphone app to adjust throttle sensitivity on the fly, read and clear diagnostic trouble codes, check emissions readiness, and re-activate DFM anytime — all without removing the module.

Note: GM refresh V8 2021-2026 SUV and 2022.5-2026 1500 trucks, 5.3L and 6.2L. Confirm compatibility before ordering.

Range Technology PULSAR LT Pulsar LT inline calibrators
RANGE TECHNOLOGY / PULSAR LT

Pulsar LT inline calibrators

The Pulsar LT connects inline at the factory ECM connection. Use the steering wheel controls (or the app where supported) to adjust throttle response, tire size, gear ratio, top speed limiter, and TPMS thresholds — and to disable AFM/DFM. No ECM modification.

Note: Available for 2019-2022 GM gas trucks, 14-19 Classic 6.2L, 17-22 Canyon/Colorado 3.6L, 15-20 GM SUVs, and 2019-2022 2.7L trucks.

Range Technology START/STOP Start/Stop Disablers
RANGE TECHNOLOGY / START/STOP

Start/Stop Disablers

The Start/Stop Disabler plugs into the OBD-II port and instantly eliminates engine stop-start at every light — for GM applications and the 2015-2020 Ford F-150. No ECU reprogramming, no trace when unplugged, and your warranty remains intact.

Note: RA005B covers GM applications; RA006B covers the 2015-2020 Ford F-150. Confirm your application before ordering.

Before you install

A few things to keep in mind.

These guidelines keep installation clean and protect your vehicle's factory systems.

  • 01
    Ignition off

Connect the module with the ignition switched off, then start the vehicle normally.

  • 02
    One device at a time

Do not stack the module with tuners, insurance dongles, or other OBD-II devices.

  • 03
    No reflash

The module does not reprogram the ECU. When removed, no changes remain in the vehicle.

  • 04
    Sleep mode

The module powers down automatically after the ignition is off, with negligible current draw.
